While jazzfish was here, we made Maple Ice Cream.

I used this recipe from about.com but with a few tweaks and mistakes.

First of all, I didn't have cornstarch and didn't want to go bother buying some. According to various links found via Google, 2 Tablespoons of regular flour can substitue for 1 Tb of cornstarch. I'm not really sure what it does in this ( Read more... )

All you Seattle people, remember, my Groundhog Day Ice Cream Party is tomorrow (Saturday) evening!

Ice Cream will be served between the hours of 7-11pm. Drop in whenever during that time period and have tasty frozen desserts. :)

I'm in the process of making some of the ice creams right now and believe me, they will be tasty. :)
